Forlornist is a one-person-band inspired by the second wave of black metal, depressive black metal, and Mors Syphilitica. Not to be mistaken for an ambient project, Forlornist's songs are to-the-point, while still being pretty. The vocals are an unusual approach to the genre, screaming and shouting as opposed to shrieking.
